Terms of Service
Effective date: June 20, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users in connection with the use of the e-signature and electronic document service "FreeSign" (hereinafter the "Service") provided by Jachi Solution (hereinafter the "Company").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means all functions provided by the Company, including creating, sending, signing, storing, and verifying electronic documents.
- "User" means a member or signature participant who agrees to these terms and uses the Service.
- "Electronic signature" means information in electronic form that indicates the identity and signing intent of the signer as shown on an electronic document.
- A "signer" means a person who receives a signing request and signs or seals the document.
Article 3 (Registration & Authentication)
The Service does not use passwords; identity verification and login are done through a one-time verification code (OTP) sent to your email or phone number. Users must provide accurate contact details in their own name and must not misappropriate another person's contact details. You are responsible for keeping verification codes from being exposed to others.
Article 4 (Effect of Electronic Signatures)
Electronic signatures made through this Service may carry the same legal effect as a handwritten signature or seal under the Digital Signature Act and the Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Transactions. To ensure the authenticity of an electronic signature, users must faithfully complete the identity verification process.
Article 5 (Audit Trail & Verification)
To preserve document integrity, the Company creates and keeps audit trail records including signing time, access IP, and identity verification method, and stores the hash (SHA-256) of completed documents. Anyone can use the Company's verification feature to check whether a document they hold has been tampered with.
Article 6 (User Obligations)
- Not to create or send documents that violate the law or these terms, or that infringe on others' rights
- Do not request signatures on false documents or for unlawful purposes
- Do not interfere with the normal operation of the Service
Article 7 (Document Storage, Storage Fees & Liability)
① The Company stores documents and attachments created and signed by users within the scope of service provision. Creating, sending, signing, completing, and verifying documents are provided free of charge.
② The Company stores completed documents free of charge for a set period (30 days by default) from the signing completion date. For longer storage beyond this, a document storage fee may apply according to pre-announced terms. Users may download and keep their documents themselves before any fee applies, and if the storage fee is not paid, the Company may, after prior notice, stop storing or delete the document.
③ The content of a document and the resulting legal responsibility rest with the user who created and signed it; the Company is not responsible for the document's content itself.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
The Company is not liable for damages arising from natural disasters, causes attributable to the user (including misappropriation or careless handling of contact details), or other causes beyond the Company's reasonable control.
Article 9 (Amendment of Terms)
The Company may revise these terms within the bounds of relevant laws, and will give advance notice of the effective date and the changes.
