What is Split PDF?

A tool that pulls out only the pages you need from a single PDF, or breaks a long document into several files. It is handy for lifting a few pages to send to a contracting party out of a document dozens of pages long, or for separating a file by chapter or section for storage. It leaves the original untouched and turns just the parts you need into a new PDF.

How it works

1 Upload the PDF you want to split and preview all of its pages.
2 Specify the pages to extract by mixing ranges and single pages, like “1-3, 5, 8-10”. Use a hyphen for continuous ranges and a comma for separate pages.
3 Press “Split” to build a PDF containing only the pages you chose. Download it to send or store right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I extract non-consecutive pages at once? ⌄

Yes. Write ranges and single pages together, like “2-4, 7, 11-12”, and scattered pages are gathered into one PDF.

Will the original PDF be changed or deleted? ⌄

The original is never touched. The chosen pages are copied into a new file, so the original stays safely intact.

Can I instead split every page into its own file? ⌄

Yes, you can break the whole document into one-page files. It is convenient when each page needs to be managed separately.

Will text or tables break after splitting? ⌄
